Just got it, so no feedback on the longevity of it yet..
The jacket fits well and keeps your baby snug. It fits the 1G & kinda fits the 2G Nanos - there is a felt and rubber layer inside that should do a great job of protecting while not causing other rub points (which some other hard cases do). It's like a second alumnimum layer, so it protects far far better than the rubber ones (which do very little to protect your Nano against impact or torsion flexing). Clear window that covers the Nano screen - i hope it holds up. Either way, it's better to scratch up that screen rather than the Nano screen. There is a hole cut out for the click wheel. And unlike other thicker plastic cases, it's a bit easier to thumb scroll the wheel without so much plastic in the way. Nice neck lanyard.
Two negatives for 2G Nano owners - the Hold Slide switch is obscured and hard to reach - plus folks with thick based headphone plugs (like my Shures) will have a tough time inserting the headphone plugs - just put them in first, then close the hatch - it's tight, but it seems to work OK.
Initially, I'm very impressed and the price is really good too. No 'Apple Premium" pricing. It's a bargain.
